i am responsible for the graphic needs of various show sites located on nbc.com. this includes concept layout and image creation, banner promotions, sponsored contest pages as well as designing the layouts for the various video players.

i was responsible for the graphic needs of all compusa websites. this included concept layout and image creation, banner promotions, buttons, e.mail blasts, sale pages, vendor showcases, badges and product images among other things. i was responsible for one of the complete redesigns of the retail site's look and feel which required me to see the project through from conception to implementation. as the lead designer on the game fixx project, i illustrated the cast of characters used in branding the logo. this entailed sketching out concepts, cleaning, inking and coloring them in illustrator before adding effects in photoshop.

i was responsible for the design, image creation, content development and html coding for the lyme disease foundation's website. monthly hits increased from 150 when i first took the position to approximately 16,000 by the time i left. in addition, the foundation utilized my design skills for print materials such as brochures, fliers, video covers and posters.

i was brought in to instruct two high school level english classes on how to build a basic web page. i presented the fundamentals of simple html coding, prepared worksheets and created an instructional website for the students to access throughout their project.

i am studying traditional and computer animation as it relates to character acting and storytelling. i expect to receive my bachelor of arts degree in may 2008.
